From booking to night audit
- A reservation is created or received from a channel, holding dates, rate, and guest profile.
- On arrival, front desk checks the guest in, assigns a room, and opens or links a folio.
- During the stay, POS outlets and manual charges post to the folio; payments reduce the balance.
- Housekeeping sees room status updates and completes tasks as rooms turn over.
- At departure, check-out settles the folio and updates room status for cleaning.
- Night audit closes the business day; reports and accounting reflect posted activity.

How is access controlled?
Users sign in with email and password; JWT sessions gate API calls and pages. Permissions are role-based (ADMIN, MANAGER, FRONT_DESK, HOUSEKEEPING, STAFF) with optional per-user overrides.
Is Minimax PMS multi-property?
The data model is multi-tenant: each hotel has its own hotelId, and queries are scoped to that tenant. Platform operators can use a separate cross-tenant admin area.
How do I sign in?
Hotel staff use the Sign in page at /login with credentials issued by your property administrator. There is no public self-service signup on this site.
