## From booking to night audit

1. A reservation is created or received from a channel, holding dates, rate, and guest profile.
2. On arrival, front desk checks the guest in, assigns a room, and opens or links a folio.
3. During the stay, POS outlets and manual charges post to the folio; payments reduce the balance.
4. Housekeeping sees room status updates and completes tasks as rooms turn over.
5. At departure, check-out settles the folio and updates room status for cleaning.
6. Night audit closes the business day; reports and accounting reflect posted activity.
